The Story
Divisible By Zer0 is a globe-spanning concept album that tells the story of mathematics—from clay tablets and pyramids to quantum-age proofs—through a new heavy style we call Proofcore: big, melodic progressive metal where every song is built like a proof and wired to the math it celebrates.
Highlights
Sexagesimal Dawn (Sumer/Babylon): Base-60 time, star tables, and rope-made right triangles turn the sky into a clock.
Nile Geometry (Egypt): Unit fractions, flood-reset borders, and pyramid slope (the seked).
Elements of Proof (Greece): Euclid’s definitions and postulates become cathedral-like hooks.
The Method (Archimedes): Levers, “Eureka!”, and exhaustion—the birth of limits.
Zero Ascends (India): Śūnya (zero) and place value; nothing that counts.
Nine Chapters (China): Rod calculus, early elimination, and π by polygons.
House of Algebra (Baghdad): Completing the square; the word “algorithm” is born.
Liber Abaci (Europe): Hindu–Arabic numerals hit the counting house; rabbits multiply into a spiral.
The Cartesian Forge: Coordinates weld algebra to geometry.
Fluxions & Differentials: Calculus joins speed and area.
Seven Bridges: Euler invents graph thinking.
Beyond the Fifth: Spherical and saddle worlds—non-Euclidean space.
Galois’ Last Night: Symmetry decides which equations can be solved.
Hilbert’s Dreams, Gödel’s Shadow: The quest for certainty meets incompleteness.
Frontiers: Quantum Proofs: From prime tests and E8 sphere packing to entangled verifiers.
- P vs NP (the Gate and the Maze) and The Last Margin (Fermat via modularity).
