The Story
The Sublime Porte, is a chronical of the six-century rise, zenith, and eventual collapse of the Ottoman Empire.
Blistering double-kick drums, crushing riffs, and soaring vocals clash with heavy, 1970s-inspired Anatolian psychedelic rock. Traditional Turkish instrumentation, featuring the rhythmic pulse of the Darbuka drum, the intricate, rapid-fire melodies of the Bağlama (Saz), and the haunting, sorrowful breath of the Ney flute.
